I liked that they had signs that asked guests to use their towels more than once and that they offered filtered water in glass bottles vs. plastic. "Loved the Old Cinema hotel. Beautiful art deco decoration in rooms and surrounding areas. Air con works well. Great shower. Cool breakfast area / cafe with lots of plants. Great background music accentuating the cool mood. Small pool to cool off in was on way to needing a clean, but was fine. Lots of towels. All staff were magnificent even helping to organise tuk tuks to the sights. Food excellent. Loved this place especially the meatball sandwiches for lunch. "

The bathroom looks beautiful, but using the tub wasn’t possible due to mosquitoes. Further, the door between the toilet and tub is a glass shower door, so the exterior door and its tall threshold is between the toilet and the bed, so anyone who needs the toilet in the middle of the night has to fumble with the key and chain and risk tripping over the threshold.
