"The people were very nice and the outside portion of the properties was beautiful. The food was ok but always late. The rooms had no fans to circulate air, holes in the screens and mosquito netting, toilet handle kept coming off, etc. There is also no cross ventilation to move air... it was hot. WiFi is only at the patio of the lobby area. We ate here every meal and every meal was 30 min to an hour after it was set to be eaten. The price was good and reviews were high so we chose here. The pool and monkeys were awesome. "

"This is a beautiful little getway by Lake Victoria. The staff is kind and welcoming and the rooms are nice. You just need to be mentally and physically prepared for no AC. They do provide a fan though and a refrigerator to keep your complementary waters cool."

"For the price, it's a convenient hotel, free transport to and from the airport (they even picked me up at 3:00 am from the airport). Breakfast is simple but fine and included. Dinner options are fine (not included but reasonably priced). I would stay here again. it's no frills but the staff and price are great. "

"I keep coming back to this property because of its vicinity with Victoria Mall. I will look for alternatives since this hotel started to charge $10 one way airport shuttle per person while the price is still higher compared to any similar US Best Western location. Something is rotting at the core of African hotel industries. "
