"I usually stay at the nearby Shangri-la. But Shangqri-la wanted too much money this trip. So I gave Days Hotel a try. Days Hotel is located in middle of downtown, on 8th floor of luxury shopping mall. I was happy with my choice. Staff upgraded me to a suite. Also, staff was attentive. "Don’t be fooled by the Westin branding. Classic domestic hotel: looks good from a distance but rooms too hot and too dry, no way to control heating, fixtures and fittings falling apart, horrible smells coming from the plumbing, poor cleanliness, offensively bad coffee etc. Honestly, I suspect it’s no better or worse than the neighbouring hotels, just giving an honest review from a European perspective. Staff were very friendly though, and it’s very close to the ski area. Good restaurants...
