"The Hyatt Centric in Guatemala City is by far the nicest of the hotels at that level. The rooms are large and clean. The staff was friendly down to the cleaning ladies. This is now the only hotel I will stay at in Guatemala City. "

"Good, solid hotel experience in Guatemala City. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and spacious. The included breakfast buffet is a nice touch. The room came with two complimentary bottles of water when I arrived. The rooftop hot tub looks inviting, although I didn’t get the chance to use it. The hotel floors and rooms require a key card to activate elevator access, which makes it feel safe. Overall, it’s a good choice based on the price and location. Lots of restaurants nearby. Would stay again. Forgot to mention, the area nearby can be noisy in the evening as there are clubs, bars and entertainment venues nearby. I don't mind noise, so it is not a problem for me. But if you are a light sleeper, this might be an issue. "
