"Nice property. Hotel staff seemed overwhelmed. One front desk person was very rude. The other two were kind and helpful. Room wasn’t ready at check in and when we did get in the cleaning supplies were outside the room, it smelled like someone had just used the bathroom when we entered, and there was a smushed fly stuck on the wall. (Kinda gross)"

"Iconic national park hotel in a stunning setting. It's very beautiful and well maintained. Expect smaller rooms, given the age of the hotel, but the rooms are comfortable and well-appointed. The mattress and towels could be better (compared to a similar hotel like the Mission Inn.) Light sleepers might not like the loud air conditioning, which really can't be controlled in-room. Great pool area, pretty but so-so fitness room. Pro tip on the nice sauna: start the timer before your work-out...

"This was a great stay for us. The beautiful creek running through made for a perfect chill happy hour. The kids loved the park across the street. The pool was closed during our stay for prep for summer but we enjoyed the jacuzzi. Great breakfast and beautiful art throughout. "

"Very disappointed with no breakfast as advertised on Expedia site. Manager said they quit providing that amenity. The room was small (king bed 2 people) and trash was left under the bed and table was not cleaned. Also didn't like being placed right next to housekeeping room with laundry carts and very loud talking maids right outside when we were trying to nap. Also the toilet chain broke. Pretty average hotel for the price range. "

"Rooms were very small and cramped with little space for luggage. Bathroom had no towel bars and the sink had very little counter space, there was nowhere to hang a towel after showering. Room smelled musty and the AC unit sounded like a jet approaching take off. The TV remote was indecipherable, and despite repeated trips to the front desk for tutoring, all I got was a no signal message floating around the screen. I was frustrated and let the staff know. "I picked this place because it had a pool, however, the staff told me the pool was closed for cleaning this week, but the water looked all brown, like it hadn't been use in a while. The breakfast was terrible, they had a waffle maker which was nice, but only raisin bran and stale white bread for toast. The refrigerator was empty except for a milk jug and two vanilla yogurts which were gone the next day and not replaced. Most other free hotel breakfasts have some choice of different cereals,...
