"Our room was beautiful. We had a swim out and it was fantastic. All rooms seemed to be centrally located so you didn’t have to walk far to get to anything.
The à la cartes were limited. I am used to going to resorts where you have a steakhouse, a tepanyaki and a seafood as staple restaurants. All 3 of these restaurants were on the adult side, Senses. We were on the family side, so we had no access to these restaurants. That was a major disappointment for us. We did 2 à la cartes twice - the Italian and fusion. They were excellent and the staff were amazing. The buffet was redundant after a while. I’ve been to much better buffets at other resorts so it was a bit of a let down. The staff at the buffet were not that friendly and very slow.
The pool, waterpark and beach sections were amazing. There was always plenty of beach chairs available and lots of shady areas.
The maid service was great. They cleaned our room daily around 12:30 which was the perfect time. I’ve been to other resorts where my room didn’t get cleaned until 5 pm when I was trying to get ready for supper. This was not the case. They also replaced our towels and changed all the bedding daily.
The nightly entertainment was ok. Some shows were more interesting than others, but every night it was some type of music performance. It would be better if they had more of a variety.
All in all, a great experience but there are things that can be improved upon. "
