"I was supposed to stay for two nights. As soon as I saw my room I wanted to leave. I did stay one night due to the penalty and checked out the next day. My parent’s and brother Checked out two days early. I went through Expedia to get a refund. My brother sat in the lobby and argued with the management to get a refund. "Our stay at the Lankavatara was perfect. The location was idyllic and perfect for a relaxing, quiet getaway with a long stretch of stunning beach that we more or less had to ourselves. The staff were amazing and so helpful and friendly. The food was excellent with a good menu of local dishes and other choices. For our first time visiting Sri Lanka, we had one of the best holidays ever!!"
