"From the airport transfer which was particularly difficult after landing to the superb reception staff service this was a lovely one night stay close to Charleroi airport. It may be basic but rooms are clean and warm , beds are comfy and the pillows outstanding , leading to a fabulous nights sleep. We didn’t do breakfast however the restaurant and bar looked lovely. "Lovely location, with nice grounds and the older part of the complex is spectacular. The newer part provided a spacious suite of rooms with kitchenette and dual aspect living room (it forms two sides of a quadrangle), for our family. Being in the roof meant that the window sills were low and these open fully, not an issue with older children. Many hotels near Brussels South Charleroi claim to have a free shuttle, but it often turns out to be a paid taxi. This one truly offers a free shuttle bus, which was a huge plus!
