"Good location - hill not a problem at all. It’s a beautiful old building. Breakfast was great. Only 4 stars not 5 because the rooms are quite noisy - but it wouldn’t stop me rebooking."

"Staff made the holiday very enjoyable for us. Richard and the team were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble. Great room with a view, sometimes a little too warm in the night. Maybe supply a fan in the room? We didn't ask for one, so that was our bad. Lovely trip to Guernsey. "

"Well looked after by friendly staff. Curtains in bedroom could be more effective at blocking light."

"Lovely hotel with exceptional staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Rooms were a good size and very clean. Lovely beach at bottom of hill, with a great cafe. Worth the walk back up."

"The staff were friendly and very helpful. Our room was very comfortable and the breakfasts were excellent. The hotel proved the perfect place to be based for a wedding weekend with the opportunity to explore St Peter Port and the surrounding area. I highly recommend the Duke of Richmond Hotel for a stay on Guernsey "

"We really enjoyed our stay at the Farmhouse and would definitely go back again and recommend it to others. The room was nicely appointed, clean and quiet. The restaurant, bars and garden areas were all really nice too. The hotel staff were all very polite, attentive and helpful "

"The rooms are clean, well presented, a decent size, with a good shower and bed. TV is very small though. Location is great, especially the outside bar space on a sunny day, with fantastic views. Parking available outside or if busy in the street too. Staff are very helpful and accommodating. Food, especially breakfast was of a high standard too. Would highly recommend."

"Loved the location, size and amenity of rooms and the warm helpful friendliness of the reception staff. Worth sacrificing the sea view for a lovely quiet rear room as the hotel is a pavement’s width from the busy seafront road. "

"The hotel staff are excellent. They are very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The hotel is comfortable, if a little dated. You need to let them know if an accessible shower is needed as many rooms have a bathtub shower. The food is available until late evening and the bus stop to town is across the road, while the return stop is just a house away."
