"The room was spacious, however the bed was hard (expected this from previous hotel visits throughout Asia) and the room was not very sound proof as I was woken several times by noisy neighbours in other rooms. Nice selection of foods at breakfast - both western and Chinese, and laundry was same day service and very cheap for what I had cleaned. "Site was great, had a lot of amenities, but the pool bar was not open. I thought there was three restaurants and I only found two. Lack of a store to buy food and drink items. But you could buy jewelry. They had a cooler they sold ice cream out of but it was 58 yen for a very small cup. Over all it was a great place to vacation, just seemed like it was either off season or it’s past its prime. Will stay there again when back in China."

"The staff at this hotel were amazing and couldn’t do enough for you. They have e-bikes which you can rent. One of the staff even came and found me when I got lost!! The property is about 7km from the town but very doable if you take the e-bikes and the hotel provides helmets. The pool is very instagrammable! The views were amazing. They also have local costumes available for dressing up in if that appeals. There are lots of high tech gizmos, including a Japanese style toilet, a movie screen that comes down from the roof and automated curtains. All can be controlled by voice commands (if you speak Chinese)! This was our favourite hotel and we’d love to go back."

"Li Resort was a welcome quiet respite near bustling Yangshuo. The friendly and accommodating full-service staff took care of all our logistics to/ from the train and the sites during our stay. They also made a good coffee! I truly enjoyed my morning yoga in the glass gym by the pool, looking out at the misty, karst geography. Our room was well-designed for families with kids. While we experienced many Instagram moments around the rice fields, the resort itself was our highlight from Yangshuo."

"The hotel staffs are excellent and super kind. After checked out the hotel and I was on my to next city, I received a test message from the front desk staff and was told that I left a bag in the room I didn't even notice. They sent the bag to my next destination so I didn't need to worry about it. Unfortunately I didn't ask her name, but everyone works there deserved a hat off for the excellent job they've done."
