"Hotel inside was very nice. Nice furniture in the reception and bar. Room was nice and everything seemed clean. Outside the hotel looks horrendous. It’s on as a spa hotel but the spa and pool were closed and the games room doesn’t seem to exist. We were rudely wakened at 6.30 with people in the corridor, banging doors and dragging cases, and moving about rooms. We went for breakfast and it was full of foreigners, there wasn’t a clean table for us to sit at and had to stand with our plates waiting until one was cleaned. There was four coaches in the car park taking all these people away after they had been for breakfast. This was not the overnight we expected!!! We left the hotel on the night we stayed and went into Erskine where we found a great wee pub that did lovely food, drinks were reasonable as well. This is a beautiful hotel that’s been totally ruined which is a shame "

"The rooms are shabby and not very clean. Went down for breakfast on the day of checking out only to find a cleaner in our room who did not speak English. Why would she be in a room cleaning when we were not leaving the room until 11am. I’m an IHG member that means absolutely nothing these days. Holiday inns do nothing to fresh the place up because they know that they have the monopoly at this airport. "

"This is my second stay. Always clean and comfortable. Love the proximity to the bar/restaurant and quick walk into town for more entertainment."

"£50 fine for parking outside the hotel. Whilst we can't blame the hotel because there is a warning in their greeting message... our check-in was limited to speaking to somebody on a Ring Doorbell. Nobody on reception, so no-one to talk to. I would have asked "okay to park here?" if there had actually been somebody present - the parking sign is half way down the street and meter in not obvious. All felt a bit impersonal. Bathroom a bit dated with an unspeakably large bath...a good shower would have been better. Parking police left a bitter taste at the end. Acknowledge my fault, but after a long & tiring journey it feels like I've fallen victim to the tourist tax."
