"We had an amazing stay at hotel Dormero. The hotels right in front of the beach which made it very convenient for us to go around swimming and other beach activities which were nearby. The room itself was kept spotless with daily housekeeping. The staff were very nice and polite. We even had the opportunity to celebrate new years with the staff and eat amazing food. Thank you for a lovely stay. Would recommend. "

"Vi blev uppgraderade till ett större rum helt utan kostnad. Rummet var jättefint och välstädat. Gillade att det fanns balkong och minikyl. God mat på restaurangen och mysig miljö. Personalen, framförallt en kille va supertrevlig och hjälpte oss ringa runt när min mobil gått sönder för att få tag på flygbiljetterna. Han bokade även taxi till oss när vi skulle åka till Colombo. Rekommenderar verkligen "

Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das äußerst freundliche und aufmerksame Personal, das stets bemüht war, unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten und dafür sorgte, dass es uns an nichts fehlte. "The rooms are not as advertised. I booked a sea and pool view room but could not see either as there was a huge tree outside the balcony blocking the view. It is advertised as having free wifi but there is no wifi anywhere apart from in reception. They said they were upgraded it but there was none to upgrade.They were in the process of installing it. "This was our 2nd stay at the Asian Jewel. Our return was based on our previous experience which was lovely staff, good food, clean and spacious room. The location is out of town but was easy/cheap to get tuk tuks and being situated next to the lagoon allowed us to see lots of beautiful birds from our balcony. Would recommend and hope to return again."

"Heel schoon en comfortabel verblijf. Hele goede wifi, en Airconditioning 2 schone zwembaden mooi aangelegde tuin. Op korte loopafstand van de hoofdweg met veel restaurants. Ontbijt beschikbaar en op zich goed.. maar traag gereserveerd en verkeerde volgorde. Eerst Fruit dan na 10 minuten het Ei, dan na 10 minuten de toast en de koffie en fruitsap pas na 40 minuten... Maar zou er zo weer terug keren... prima."

"We had a great stay at the hotel. Staff was very helpful and so friendly. Rooms were big and had both fan and AC. We had a room facing the road and it was quite loud bout with earplugs it was absolutely fine. Breakfast was amazing, fruit, porridge, eggs, pancakes etc. Locations was also good, away from busy crowds but only a short walk to more restaurants and shops. Pool was clean and taken care of. I would definitely recommend to stay here. "
