"Salzburg is a very tourist oriented city. As such we ended up spending way too much for a night of accommodation at this hotel. It's location is convenient to many of the local attractions. Restaurants surround the area yet it was quiet.
The hotel reception staff are top notch. Informative, helpful and efficient. The water and assorted snack items at check in were much appreciate. Our room was small but clean. The in room amenities like the hot coffee pods and assorted tea came in very useful as we ran into high winds and cold temperatures (10*C with windchill reducing it to 4*C) during one day of our trip.
The included buffet breakfast had a great selection of A LA Carte and buffet. Sooooo many choices and good quality of items. The staff members work hard to keep the tables clean and the space available for all patrons.
The bed was most uncomfortable and had motion transfer issues . This occurs when sleepers shift or toss and turn, the movement travels across the bed to disrupt sleep. I really require top quality beds while travelling.
Personally would not return but the hotel had it's positives and negatives."
