"We were rather disappointed, the images from the website was obviously taken when the establishment first opened which was MANY years ago & it has deteriorated much since then e.g the Lapa on the water, we thought we would spend our new years there fishing, but there were no floor planks.The bedding in the room had stains on it, the roof was leaking so the one single bed was soaking.We love animals, but there was a huge dog & cat that were jumping on the table where were had a braai after having...

"We arrived, the owner refused to open saying Hotels.com never sent her the confirmation. when finally we proved we had paid, we were allowed in after over an hour of sitting outside and the gate was not working. The area was difficult to find and was not in a safe area. The rooms were not as in the pictures, the water was cold. the staff were very unfriendly and inhospitable. The venue was also undergoing renovations and was incredibly dusty and unsafe."

Neat and comfortable rooms (some are really huge) with DSTV and WIFI. Cosy honesty bar on premises.Safe of street parking. "Wir blieben auf der Durchreise vom Kruger NP in die Drakensberge eine Nacht in Ermelo. Das sehr günstige Zimmer war überraschend groß, sehr stylish mit langem Durchgang zum Bad, schwarzen Steintafeln an den Wänden... Aufgrund der tollen Fotos auf der Website haben wir uns gleich zum Abendessen angemeldet.
