"The hotel is in a wonderful location in terms of walkability but the rooms are on the main road. The staff was kind and helpful when needed but not proactive - they never showed me the pool or told me about dinner options or activities for the New Year that the hotel organized. The room was mostly clean but there was food left from the previous guest in the fridge and the bathroom had mold and really needs an upgrade. The room was also only cleaned on the 2nd but not the 3rd day of my 4 days there. The bed was also way too soft (but I guess some people like that)."

"After all the hype of this property our expectations were not met. There appears to be a lack of attention to detail. Floor of our room was ‘grimy’ and had not been cleaned to the standard expected. Dirty bed linen and insufficient towels or water to cater for the number of booked guests. Breakfast was exceptional as were the breakfast staff. Wait staff in the pool deck were often hard to find. A fair way behind the competition "
