"This is a wonderful place too stay with one drawback - there’s no restaurant which means driving to Gaillac too find somewhere to eat. Alternatively, the room has a mini-kitchen and there are ready-to-heat meals available - beautifully presented in glass jars…and the chateau’s own wines are excellent"

"Very nice place, romantic and charming!"

"Chateau de Salettes is a welcome haven in a sea of the typical hotels. Its quiet elegance and beautiful surroundings make it an exceptional destination. "

"Dominique was a wonderful host, friendly and thoughtful. We had dinner there and that was excellent. The place is lovely and the area is outstanding."

"I found this to be a traditional Chambre d'Hôte, where you don't feel you are in a hotel but rather a guest in the house of the owners. My room was comfortable and quiet, the breakfasts were very good, and the hosts were welcoming. What more do you need? The house is about a 10-minute walk from Gaillac across the river. It is also a fairly short drive into Albi, which is a small city that is well worth exploring."

"No fridge and no kettle in the room."

"This is a one of a kind off-the beaten track type of experience. I inquired about restaurants and tourist information and the hotel owner provided me with two brochures. Breakfast was personally tailored and prepared right then. The room was equiped with a king size bed, a sofa and plenty of room, suite size. Besides, a second adjacent room was also provided able to accommodate three minors, one bunk bed and a single bed. In the exterior, a swimming pool was also available, but I never used it...
