"It was a great experience, the place is inviting, the bathrooms are clean, the staff is friendly, check in was simple, they even phoned ahead to check when to expect us and the breakfast was fresh and well prepared. My only issue was with the bed in our room...it was not very comfortable."

"The owner is a scam artist who uses online booking sites such as this to steal money from clients. He is also aggressive, rude and unprofessional. After reading my check-in review of his property he became aggressive and told us to leave the bnb despite having paid until 9. He admitted to having double charged us and attacked us in front of my small children ( 1 and 7 years old). The property is run down, outdated and dirty. I recommend people to stay away from this fraudster. Disgraceful....

"At the earliest smell of food ants were in attendance! Consider hooks in the bathrooms. Otherwise we were fairly comfortable for our short stay. "

For the last night of my stay in Bloemfontein, this B & B was unfortunately fully booked and I therefore stayed at another (which had a 5 star rating); however, found the Brebner House a much more peaceful stay and the staff more accommodating."
