"A friend and I stayed at the blue Nile resort hotel, which has a stunning setting and views on the waters edge of lake Tana. It was a perfect spot to start our tour of lake Tana and Islands. The staff were helpful and it the buffet breakfast had a good selection. However the twin room was very small which had not been apparent in the photos online as I had thought it was a twin room with double beds not singles and there was no hot water."

"Anyone checking in this hotel need to be carefull. They will scum you by let you check in 30 minutes early then when you check out they will charge you 1 day extra "

"The hotel oversees the city and is 30 minutes away from the main attractions. The room was very clean and staff is very friendly. I wish they can supply the bathrooms with shampoos in the future."

"Decent place. Decent rate when on sale. Hotel staff are a bit shy but nice. Good location (near all the sights up in the north end of town). You need to call for airport pick-up (they didnt reply to emails)."

Tizu warm gracious welcome will make you feel like you’re at home. This will always be my first choice when visiting Addis! "
