"Nice, modern hotel, very close to airport. Just a 5 minute walk to the terminal. For a new property the soundproofing is quite poor. The guest in the adjacent room could be heard talking on his phone late into the evening."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Ebel Boutique Hotel. From the moment you walk in, the traditional aesthetic sets it apart from the typical modern hotel — the design and décor have a real warmth and character that you don’t often find, and it made the whole experience feel special rather than generic. The rooms are surprisingly spacious — far more generous than you’d expect at this price point — and the beds are genuinely one of the most comfortable we’ve slept in. We woke up well-rested, which set a great tone for the day. Breakfast is simple, homely and delicious — exactly what you want. It felt like a home-cooked meal rather than a mass-produced hotel buffet. It is a fantastic choice for families. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, and nothing felt off-limits or overly formal. A special mention has to go to the lady at reception, who helped us a lot in getting the correct taxi for our luggage. If you’re visiting Tirana and want somewhere with soul, comfort and genuine hospitality, Ebel Boutique is a great choice.​"

"My stay at Sol Tropikal was overall good, but there are a few things that could definitely be improved. The food was nice and tasty, especially the beef, pasta and panna cotta. I enjoyed most of the meals, although sometimes the food was more warm than hot. It would be better if the chefs could make sure the food stays hot enough during serving. The rooms were neat, tidy and comfortable. Housekeeping did a good job keeping everything clean throughout my stay, and the balcony area was nice to relax on. One thing I struggled with was communication with some of the staff because many of them were not able to speak English well, so I didn’t really find the staff very engaging. I was also disappointed with the water situation. I had two bottles in my room when I arrived, but nobody explained that I was supposed to keep and refill them. I assumed fresh bottles would be provided. When I asked reception for another bottle of water, I was told guests only get two bottles and that I should buy water from the lobby shop instead. Considering I paid for all inclusive, I honestly felt disappointed that they couldn’t provide one extra bottle, especially since I would have reused it for refills afterwards. Having stayed at another Melia hotel before, I personally didn’t feel this one matched the same standard. Overall the stay was okay and I would rate it 7/10."

"Staff were absolutely excellent-from reception to restaurant to security to cleaning team. Room was fantastic-the bed and pillow were so comfortable. Room size was good and spacious with amazing views. Food options for breakfast was ample. The spa facilities were really good too. One of the best stays I’ve had! Highly recommended"

"The family room was amazing and very comfortable. We really felt at home. The morning desk person was VERY unhelpful, condescending and rude. 2 of us left at 10am to pick up a car rental. We had to ask for a later check out and it was granted until 11:30. As our 2 other friends were busily bringing all our luggage down around 11:30, they returned to the room to get the the last pieces of luggage. The card did not work and the front desk person was so rude when we asked to gain access to get the bags. He said it’s 11:32 and you only had extension until 11:30…. Like he was going to keep our bag. He argued and only begrudgingly allowed us upstairs to get the rest of the luggage."

"This hotel is on a quieter location in golem, although this means it’s also very close to the motorway. My room faced the motorway and if I had my balcony door open it was loud however once the door was closed the noise disappeared. The room was extremely comfortable and did look like the photos on Expedia. The hotel also had a small pool and around 5 sun loungers. The pool and sun loungers were in the shade for long periods of the day but between midday and 3pm the pool got the sun (I stayed in early May). There is a buffet breakfast included in the room rate which was nice, the options are limited. Don’t expect to find English breakfast items it’s lots of salads and fruit, with coffee and juices offered. The beach is a few streets away from the holiday. Very convenient "

"The room was clean and good sized. The bathroom shower didn’t have a door it it made the entire bathroom wet and we had to keep drying it. The balcony was a nice addition and had a view of the square! Follow the signs on the road to the steps and to the desk at the dentist. The breakfast is at UFO Bar which is a 5 mins walk away. Choose a crepe or eggs breakfast. And a drink."
