"The location of the hotel was perfect. To the front was the sea and out of the back door were the Lanes with many shops and restaurants."

"For the price the room could have been better. Window didn’t close completely, shower was small and had seen better days. On the Saturday night the noise from a party in the hotel was loud."

"The description do not match the tired look of this hotel and beware that there is an £8 per day charge for parking. My room had botched repairs to the floor tiling and the windows were disgusting. There was no lock on the window with a scaffold ladder right outside. If you want a cheap, central hotel with lovely staff then it’s Ok"

"Very dated - but clean and did the job for an expensive time at conference"

"While generally clean the lift was dirty and remained so for our 4night stay. Our room was clean and tidy. But the bathroom was not cleaned for 2 days and when reported to the reception I was informed that all cleaning was not done every day!! This was at least our 4th visit to this hotel but it is now debatable if we will return. Which is regrettable."

"I got a good nights sleep but the room was small and the window had a wall directly opposite so the lighting was lacking, I was very disappointed compared to the room I had when I stayed six months previously which was bigger and had a view of the street: I’d only stay here again as a last resort."
