"Like some other reviewers on here, I was a bit wary of what to expect after reading some of the other reviews, but in reality, we received a warm welcome from the reception staff, and booking a standard plus room gave us a room with a sea view. Although there was no air-conditioning, having three sash windows in the room meant that we had air flowing through the room, and so despite it being one of the hottest weekends of the year, we were able to sleep comfortably. "We have stayed at this hotel over half a dozen times and have always found it comfortable and clean. We always request a low floor room and when we first booked about 3 years ago the hotel always allocated this. The last two times we have been allocated higher floors, when asked only to be told, we are fully booked. We always book months in advance and why our request isn’t taken into consideration, I don’t know. We pay for a premium room and with better planning I am sure our request could be...
