For Europeans not used to loadshedding, bring mosquito repellent to protect yourself from their arrival when the fan stops! This will not stop me from coming back each time I will visit Paarl. I will then also be able to dine at the restaurant, which I have heard so much about."

"Amazing find on the outskirts of Paarl. This historic Cape Dutch farm has bern tastefully decoratrd and restored with "craftsmanship" finishes and great attention to detail. Also a nice lounge with cosy fireplace. It's a small but intimate B&B with only 6 rooms. A beautiful and quiet location worth staying for longer than one night to explore the area and winelands."

"Good: The rooms were comfortable,clean and the bed (mattress) was good. They needed another sheet on the bed (instead of just a comforter as the top sheet). The breakfast each morning was perfect, many choices, and all great tasting. The Staff were very attentive. Bad: The shower had some type of "black worms" coming up thru the drain. I choose this location because they had internet, however internet went out each night around 10pm. "
