"Run down. Not worth more than $20 per night. No vent in bathroom, things don’t dry out. The staff is nice, the location is good, but that does not make up for the extremely dated look of the property. My room looked nothing like the photo. I felt I was staying at a crack house. I booked in advance for 5 days. Had to leave after 2 nights. The also lost power for about 10 hours. If you stay in the front room street traffic may keep you awake at night."

"One of the greatest places to stay in Santo Domingo. Been here many times and I will not stay anywhere else. Place is close to many historical landmarks. The Santo Domingo nightlife around this place is also great! Shout out to Victor! Who’s usually there late nights taking care of the clients! Everyone there is amazing! This place is a hidden gem!! ❤️"

"This was my second time at the hotel. They are renovating the place, it is getting nicer and nicer, however, it is a basic room, nicely located near the Plaza Espana, so there are lots of things nearby. Wi-Fi works great, the room included a refrigerator, and television. "
