I put on the original reservation that there would be 3 adults, but another person decided to stay with us, which made 4 adults. When I checked in, the person at the desk said she would have to charge for the extra person, which turned out to be a little over $12. I was unaware that they charged per person. "This is an outstanding place to stay in the Ft Smith area. If you ride the Arkansas Missouri rail to Van Buren, it would be worth the Uber or car rental. Hosts are eager to communicate with you. You won’t be disappointed if you like drinking your morning coffee on the front porch of your private rustic but very comfortable log cabin."

"Before the stay, the owner was contacted, but no answer. Upon arrival, there was confusion of which cabin was the one we were staying. It is behind the main house, not as in the description. The first night we stayed home for dinner, we needed a can opener, but there was none, dirty dishes were also pulled out of the cabinet.
