"It was in a very good location. The rooms were clean. Staff were friendly and breakfast was lovely. The spa wasn’t open but would have love to have seen it."

"The staff accommodated us with an early check-in follow our over night flight which was incredible.
Only small issue we had was getting a room service sandwich one night. They could not toast the sandwich and were perturbed when we asked for it.
Overall a great hotel with great staff and somewhere we will visit again. "

" luxury period house nice and comfortable. It is quite small and cosy
But very very quite so guests tended to talk very low and the atmosphere was a bit stiff , nice to go if your looking for a bit of peace and quiet. The breakfast: I had pancakes off the hot food menu, they were inedible , soggy and burnt . continental buffet small but what was on offer was fresh. breads were not nice, cheap sliced pan toast, and plain soda bread , no other healthy options . No tea or coffee making facilities...
