"We had a lovely stay in Waterford. Whilst the area was not as lively as expected, we couldn’t fault the hotel. We stayed for one night. The room was large and had everything we could need."

"An absolutely beautiful hotel in the most perfect location. Well appointed, comfortable rooms with lots of extras (even chocolate on the night stand). Great shower with plenty of hot water. Lovely staff. Breakfast in the dining room was very good and well priced. Location can’t be beat and included parking for just 5 euros. Everything we wanted to see was a short stroll ( not long enough to be a walk) This is the place to stay!!!"

"Unfortunately, our stay did not meet expectations. The hotel is noticeably dated and in need of renovation. While the staff was pleasant, the room itself was not as clean as it should have been. The carpet was stained, had an unpleasant odor, and gave the room an overall unclean feel. The furnishings and décor also appeared worn and overdue for updating. With some investment in renovations and improved housekeeping standards, this property could be much more enjoyable. At its current condition, it did not provide the level of comfort we were expecting."

"The room was lovely and bed very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and all the staff were so helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay here again. The only downside was the room we were in was right next to the kitchen ventilation shaft so was a bit noisy in the evening and early morning but seemed to be off overnight. Great stay thanks to all the staff."

"The lodge (inside) was clean, roomy, and comfortable. Outside there were kids toys, food wrappers, and other debris on the ground. It appeared that there were multiple families, most likely refugees, living full time in a number of the lodges next to resort visitors/tourists. There are no dining options on the island during the week, although we were told by the front desk staff (incorrectly) that the golf club did serve dinner. The castle was off limits due to private events but the walking trails were enjoyable. The golf course was in excellent condition, prices were reasonable, and the staff was friendly."
