"We stayed at The Lakeside Hotel & Leisure Centre for one night after arriving in Ireland, and it was a perfect start to our trip. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the property itself is beautiful. It's set on lovely, quiet grounds with a fantastic view of the River Shannon from our room. "I loved this place! Lots of history, super-nice staff. The room isn't fancy but it's roomy and has everything you need. Lovely front patio to enjoy the weather. The included breakfast was the best I had on my trip. Cashel is a charming town, with the Rock of Cashel looming above all. I'd stay here again. "

"As an academic I have trouble giving more than 9/10 but this property is 12/10. Staff in all areas particularly reception were amazingly helpful well beyond any 5 star big city hotel. The hotel is a brilliant older building in excellent condition. In house fining brilliant - bfsst and dinner. Value is outstanding. Rooms are a little tight but what can one expect. "

"Our stay was an absolute dream! Lorna and Peter provided a one of a kind experience. Upon arrival we were giving a tour of the farm and grounds, then a walk through our cottage, which was clean, well maintained and full of activities. Lorna then invited us to check out the afternoon milking, then meet and PET the cows and then young calfs who were curious enough to walk over.
