"Staff were friendly and keen to help. Room was bright, clean, bed was comfy, air-conditioning worked. Location was pretty good for Carmelo proper - just off the centre, with easy access for everything from bus station to some of the best food in town. Not so good was the limited front-desk hours which meant having to plan to arrive within a two-hour window. Also the bikes for rent could be in better shape (and not all built for six-foot-tall riders)."

"Excellent rooms, decent food and amenities "

"Absolutely beautiful hotel! The most peaceful night. Great food!!"

"Lindo lugar para descansar ! El servicio excelente "

"It's a 30 minute walk to town, otherwise loved it"

"Peaceful and quiet rooms. We were there in the off season, so there wasn’t many families. Staff was excellent."

"The outdoor pool and area were very lovely. The staff were friendly and personable: (3 generations!) Some English was spoken, which was rare in Uruguay. Breakfast was extensive, with many baked goods."

"closest to the ferry is key and staff were great...nice breakfast"
