"My fiancé and I recently stayed at The Soco Hotel during Barbados' Crop Over season to celebrate our engagement, and we had an amazing experience!
The hotel is a lovely, cozy, and intimate property that stands out from the typical resort. The interior has a luxurious apartment-style feel, making it both elegant and comfortable. The beachfront views are absolutely breathtaking—the crystal-clear blue waters of Barbados are simply mesmerizing. While the beach area is on the smaller side, it's cozy and peaceful, with plenty of lounge chairs available to relax and enjoy the scenery.
Another huge plus is that the hotel is all-inclusive. There is only one restaurant on-site, but don't let that fool you—the food is exceptional. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all delicious, with beautifully presented three-course meals that tasted just as amazing as they looked.
The location was also perfect. We were close to everything happening during Crop Over and were able to easily get around using Uber.
What truly made our stay special was the staff. Everyone was incredibly warm, welcoming, and among the friendliest people we've encountered while traveling. Their hospitality made us feel right at home.
I would highly recommend The Soco Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing, intimate, all-inclusive getaway with outstanding food, beautiful ocean views, and exceptional service. We can't wait to return! Thank you for making our engagement celebration so memorable!"
