"Unfortunately the property is terribly maintained. there is an odour of bats & pigeons in the corridors, it definitely needs a rehaul in terms of maintenance & proper upkeep & cleanliness. I would understand that it is difficult, however there is great potential in such a stunning property of amazing historic value, only if the management took it seriously. "Do not book a room at this hotel. This hotel is not functioning as a hotel. Nobody there knew we had booked a room. The lift was broken, there was no food available, the room we were hastily given was very shabby, had no electricity to begin with, and a broken off toilet seat. There did not seem to be any other guests. "
