"Enjoyed a four night stay here. Unfortunately there was a kid’s soccer tournament in town as well , so it was difficult to get “ adult time” in the pool. Also, it seems that getting the beds made during a housekeeping visit is somewhat “ discretionary “. Ours was never made up by them. Only service was towels and trash emptied. But overall, would still stay there in the future. "

"Wife and I came for a wedding and stayed here after for a few days in Vermont. The Essex Resort was a great home base for our travel, it felt so peaceful and the staff was beyond friendly. We felt taken care of during a time we wanted rest. We ate at Lazy Goat Tavern, walked the resort, and enjoyed the hot tub in our room (not all rooms have this)."
