"Bereits an der Hauptstraße B300 gibt es eine Beschilderung zur Lodge. Die ca. 70 km lange Anfahrt erfolgt über eine Sandpiste, die nur mit einem Allradfahrzeug zu bewältigen ist. Die Begrüßung war sehr persönlich und das Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht. Die angebotenen Aktivitäten wurden sehr individuell durchgeführt. Die Ausstattung des Luxuszeltes war hervorragend. Alles super sauber. Das Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut. Alle Getränke auch tagsüber waren inklusiv."

"Gweta Lodge was a perfect break point in our journey, we stayed two nights. The staff are super friendly and helpful. We had a lovely village walk one morning, and then enjoyed the evening drive to the pans visiting the Bushmen and the meerkats on the way. The facilities are good enough to make you feel relaxed and at home. We had a lovely time."

Alle Zelte liegen perfekt mit Blick auf dem Fluss, die Verpflegung ist sehr gut. Auch in Bezug auf die Nachhaltigkeit gibt sich das Camp große Mühe. "This was our second visit to Deception Valley. We enjoyed our first visit so much we went back. The guides are very knowledgeable compared to some other camps we have visited and the trackers are outstanding. The walk with the Bushmen through the brush is truly a unique experience. We saw several species endemic to the Kalahari. The lodge coordinates with several charter services out of Maun making flight arrangements seamless. The food was to our liking, and the gemsbok kabobs served...

"Room and staff was fine. The problem was that the reservation we made via Expedia did not came through! And the oaynent we did to Expadia did not came through as well. We were lucky that they had still rooms, which we booked and off course have to pay! We expect that Expedia will refund the money we paid to Expedia "
