"A wonderful stay! We spent three nights there and would have loved to stay longer. The hotel is situated on a vast property with beautifully manicured gardens. The pool is huge. The beach is just a few meters away and easily accessible. The food and service were excellent. We would return without hesitation!"

"We enjoyed Donna Carmela so much we extended our stay by 2 days. All staff were gracious and helpful. We loved the sumptuous breakfast, gourmet restaurant for dinner, as well as the lounge and pool bars. After a day of sightseeing around Mt Etna and Taormina, we came back to the oasis of this lovely resort."

"I ended up being stranded due to the airport closure. I booked my hotel on Expedia in a rush at the airport and when I arrived it turned out I book it for October. The staff were wonderful and accommodated me as they could see I was in stressed safe. I then had to extend my stay as the airport was closed another day, I changed my room to a suite and the suite was incredible, totally amazing and was glad I got to experience it The staff made my stay so compassionate and understanding. "The food at the property was impressive. There was a varied selection at breakfast which was nicely presented. The vegetarian option on the restaurant menu was delicious. When we arrived we were not shown to our room, and were told it was on a different road we took ages to find it, and were given conflicting information by different staff members as to where to go. There were lots of shards of glass around the pool and loungers this this was still visible the following day. There did not...
