"Newly renovated very nice room in the coach house. Staff were outstanding throughout, very helpful friendly and polite. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent, again with great staff members. Only reason it doesn't get 5* is the sauna was out of action in the spa and the pool is quite small"

"This place is truly special. The enjoyment begins the minute you walk in and meet the lovely staff. The room itself was perfect-spotlessly clean and totally comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and it was a truly incredible meal. To top off the delicious food, the chef himself came out to introduce himself afterwards so we were able to learn about where all those ingredients came from (all local and totally fresh). We ended our lovely evening in the bar area which had a great atmosphere and served some fantastic cocktails (be sure to taste the vineyard’s own wine too!). We could not recommend this place highly enough-it’s a true gem."

"Really enjoyed our stay. For the price the food, pool and sauna were super. The food was delicious. The staff were kind, helpful and friendly. The bedding was spotless. However, it just needs a general make-over here and there. Again we felt it was value for money and we’d recommend it. If you want to book their reasonably priced massages you need to book early."

"The Mansion House was a very pleasant place to spend our few days in South Wales. The hotel and grounds were kept beautifully and the views over the estuary are just stunning .Breakfasting and dining were of a high standard and from our experience of 5* hotels , deserving of their rating. Our room was very pleasant ,though a “proper”wardrobe would have been appreciated. Staff were very helpful and professional though if we were to mention one thing which we found a little odd ,was one female member of staff wearing a very inappropriately short skirt . It was very pleasant to be able to chat to David the proprietor , who together with his wife ,obviously their heart’s in the hotel ,"

"LLWYN Country House is tucked away and down a little lane offering a peaceful stay and close to so many amenities and recreational facilities. Ideally situated for sporting events in Llanelli, the Millenium coastal path , Pembrey Sands, the Gower peninsula and the Carmarthenshire coastline. We received a very warm welcome and a wonderful evening meal and breakfast. Marius is an excellent host and chef and strives for quality. We would thoroughly recommend and hope to return in the future."
