"This was a lovely place to spend our first couple of nights in Costa Rica after a long flight. The grounds were beautiful and the breakfasts were great, as was our evening meal. The accommodation felt vibrant and Costa Rican, which we loved, but could do with a little updating. However, it was still a comfortable and enjoyable place to stay. We really enjoyed the coffee tour and would highly recommend it."

"Il y a beaucoup a faire , glissade d'eau etc... par contre si vous prévoyez un établissement digne de l'hôtel des gouverneurs ben vous allez être déçu. Nous on avais le chalet rustique, qui est vraiment rustique mais qui était parfait pour nous. N' ayez pas trop d'attente. Camp de bois rond , en base de ciment pu l'on vois le jour au travers des murs..... mais cetait très chaleureux et correctes. Rien de plus."

"El cuarto del presidential suite en las ventanas le hacian falta persianas, el cual permitia el ingreso de la claridad cuando amanecia. Luego el olor de la habitacion, se percibia un olor a humedad por falta de ventilacion del cuarto. El cuarto si era comodo en cuanto a tamaño y por otro lado comida estaba bien. Sin embargo observe un gato dentro de la cocina eso no me agrado mucho. El personal que hay se observo que hacen u esfuerzo por brindar un buen servicio. En general considero...

"Very friendly welcome, breakfast was delivered to us as we’d wandered off looking at birds. Perfect place for a first night in Costa Rica"

"Rented Delux room with A/C. Bed mattress was almost rock hard and made sleeping uncomfortable, Shower control handles were difficult to operate and water pressure and hot water changed constantly during shower time. We were not able to stay for free breakfast, but coffee was available:wrapped muffin was soft and and almost tasteless. "

"This place could truly be excellent, however they just missed the mark in a few areas. 1) The restaurant food quality was almost good but they used toxic seed oils in everything. 2) We booked the sauna only to find it turned off and no towels for us. We turned it on ourselves, told staff to push our appointment back to the next half hour block. One hour after turning the sauna on it was 46°C inside, we hadn’t broke a sweat & staff came by to ensure we didn’t over stay our time limit. We...

"Nice hotel, a bit older, great staff, good location."

"Adriana, the property owner, was very welcoming. She covered all the logistics clearly and she also arranged for our shuttle to the airport which was very helpful. The room was basic but very comfortable. Our only issue was finding it as Costa Rica does not have street addresses. There was a map and description so we got close but needed help. Our taxi driver was able to phone Adriana for assistsnce."
