"Perfect location actually on platform 1 of the train station. The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was fantastic with omelette made to order and the Queen music playing on vinyl in the background was lovely. All in all I couldn't thank the Freddie mercury hotel team enough for an unforgettable 60 birthday trip. Will definitely be back 100%."

"The hotel is quite nice and in an excellent location. We booked a suite with a terrace and supposed lake view. While the room was plenty large and well appointed. The terrace was a 2x2 terrace on the side with a barely visible view of the lake through several trees. We also experienced no hot water for a full day out of a 4 day stay. While we understand that equipment breakdowns happen; management felt an AI written apology was sufficient. My experience in similar circumstances has been that...

"Our check-in was fast & the view from our room was great! Cristina assisted us & even took the time to help us with contacting our taxi driver when we lost our passports. Fortunately, the driver came back to the hotel & returned it to us. Thanks again to Cristina, she really showed concern and did everything possible to help!"

"The staff, the view, and the location are the reasons for my rating. From check in to check out, we had a great experience. The rooms are well done and modernized. They are also super clean. Open the windows and doors and enjoy sheer beauty. Location is really walkable to shops and food but also straight out to the lake for miles or walking. Fantastic!!"

"I chose this property due to it's proximity to the train station. Be aware though it is down a steep hill from the station level. There is a public elevator on the main road that helps avoid this. On arrival staff were very pleasant and helpful. Room was well equipped, though bathroom whilst well equipped was a bit cosy. Breakfast was great with plenty of fresh choice. Good value if you need to be near the station"
