"Wir wollten ja in den Sonnwendhof, wurden aber in das 4* H+ Hotel & SPA Engelberg umgebucht. Da durften wir schon etwas erwarten. Der Empfang war auch spitzenklasse. Die MitarbeiterInnen sind sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Das Zimmer war voll oK. Das Nachtessen war gut, hat für ein 4* Hotel noch Luft nach oben. Die Ambiance im rustikalen Raum angenehm und gemütlich. Im urchigen Raum fragte ich mich warum das Cheminee künstlich beleuchtet wird, wenn die ehemaligen Telefonkabienen voller Holz...

"Not a great stay. WiFi was challenging and kept disconnecting. Property was overall in poor condition, bedding was not very comfortable. We arrived less than an hour before check-in and even though the room was ready, we had to either pay for early check in or be charged a fee to hold the bags. Although it says it's near the train station, it's actually about a 20-minute walk. Would not stay here again."
