Cari Hotel di Kanton Limón

"We booked the Hotel for one night because we wanted to do a trip to Tortuguero with a boat from Moin. Because I got sick we didn't end up going and stayed at this place for 3 nights. When we first got there, we were confused because there are two Hotels with very similar name: a "Hotel Playa Bonita" and this place "Hotel Boutique Playa Bonita". This Hotel does not have a sign with the name anywhere and the building we stayed in actually said "Maribe". But the very nice lady at the front desk...

"The property is a mini animal sanctuary, with many agouti running around and sloths hanging in the trees. Many birds and frogs and even a kinkajou, although hard to spot. The hosts are very nice and helpful, Marise will make sure you and comfortable and Pierre will tell you all about the wildlife. The room is clean and comfortable, although there is no AC, so keep that in mind. It is walkable to Cahuita although a couple more min out of the way than some of the other hotels, wasn’t a problem to...

"Without Google we would have had a hard time finding it! In our room there was a shrieking noise which we assume was from the water system - it seemed to be connected to the toilet which sometimes did not flush well. We reported it at the desk when we left - really just a minor concern. Overall we had a very pleasant stay there. Liked the restaurant having tables on the beach - shades of "Death in Paradise" on the TV!"

"Hotel is located in the “jungle” It’s better to have a car because to the city is 1 hour walking. On the other hand your “private” beach is just in front of the hotel access the road and crossing short distance in “jungle” 2 minutes from your room. The beach is wild, but empty with big waves, warm water also during the rain. The owners are super friendly and kind. They prepare breakfast according to your preferences. Room is clean quite well equipped. You’re in jungle, you should expect there...
