"Beautiful property in the centre of Daroca. There is a private car park just behind the property though it’s good to check in first and they can direct you. Excellent food both for dinner and breakfast and very reasonably priced. Rooms are a very good size. Good welcome from reception staff and the waiter in the restaurant was particularly welcoming. Will be on our ‘revisit list’ for the future"

"Stunning hotel with layers of history. The breakfast had an enormous selection of great food. We made reservations in advance for the dinner and were treated very well with delicious food. Don’t miss the tour of the Cistercian monastery. Give yourself at least 3 hours to walk through the natural park, with one beautiful waterfall after another. There aren’t enough superlatives to describe this place."

"El hotel está bien, excelente, pero no es lo que Expedia me vendió. El Hotel Castillo de Ayud de 4* y con Spa que consta en mi reserva no existe desde 2021, según el Hotel Globales Castillo de Ayud (de 3* y sin Spa) que es donde tenía la reserva y que ofertáis más barato que el que no existe. "

"Mesón de la Dolores is old, picturesque with wood beams and painted plaster. The staff are friendly and it is clean. However our room was dark and airless with only a tiny shuttered window overlooking an internal space of the reception area and bar. The airconditioning was not working. It was extremely noisy. We could hear loud conversations throughout the evening and all night. We had a most uncomfortable sleepless night. The restaurant was cheap but poor quality. The small car park was full...

"The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. Host is very friendly and welcoming. He runs a bar just opposite the establishment where you can good food and drinks. We slept well but a fan in the room could make it more comfortable in hot summer days."
