"Wir hatten ein großes Zimmer mit Balkon und tollen Blick auf Gibraltar. Hotel ist in einwandfreiem Zustand, sehr bequemes und großes Bett. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet. Günstige Parkgarage. Fünf Minuten zu Fuß bis zur Grenze. Wir konnten trotz früher Ankunft um 12 Uhr sofort einchecken."

"Nice hotel right on the beach. Beach chairs for rent of around 9EURO per chair/day. The hotel was comfortable but a bit outdated - rooms could use some remodeling and attention to detail. Our shower was very hard to work and after 3 days still were not able to adjust the temperature. "

"Restaurant was buffet style and above average. Staff was pleasant and helpful. AC in the room was underwhelming and non existent at some times causing me to awake in the middle of the night sweating. The rooms were clean and presentable."

"I went to a Rota Naval Base school reunion which was hosted by the Playa de la Luz Hotel. They did an excellent job. My one complaint is that our room bill was very difficult to decipher, and after I figured it out it turned out they were charging for an extra night! In short, excellent friendly hotel, but confusing bill at check out."

"Modern hotel with great pool overlooking the sea and a 5 minute walk from the old town. We accepted an upgrade to the 7th floor - the rooms have a fabulous view from the bed, full bath and separate shower. Breakfast also excellent "
