"Great hotel, stayed over for a wedding. Conveniently located just off the M40. Great spa, jacuzzi and pool. Good clean rooms, staff are friendly and went above and beyond. Only thing being close to a motorway, not much in terms of dining around the hotel. "

"We were made very welcome, our room was lovely and warm (important as it was very cold and frosty), lovely and clean. Bathroom with a bath, but no shower. Large, comfortable bed. Very cosy. Breakfast was great and kept us going on our 10 mile walk that day. We had a lovely evening meal in the pub, which was well cooked and presented. Staff were very friendly and helpful."

"Yes the rooms are rather tired and the stairs to them are quite offputting but the building still has some grandeur from former days and is in perfect location. The rooms and bedding are very clean, the bed comfortable. No noise from the nearby road, just squeaky floorboards. Food and drinks were excellent at very reasonable prices. Staff were so welcoming and went out of their way to make sure everything was good. "

"Very quiet location. This has been our first stop when we fly into Heathrow. Great place to get a good nights sleep. The beds are very comfortable. The rooms are very nice."

"Lovely hotel with a stately home feel. Stayed for 3 nights whilst working in Chesham and ate in the restaurant each night. The menu is very good although quiet pricey, however there is a bar area with separate menu which is also very good."
