If the less favorable reviews from two years ago were true, the management has really turned things around and trained their entire staff well. "Pompano is a good value for a family. Beautiful but basic beach, pool, and hot tubs. Lobby, lounge/bar, game room, and gym were serviceable. The food was very good for the price of the meal plan. That said, there are some rough edges to the resort and many things need updating/repair. I would still recommend Pompano, especially for a family."

"The staff was helpful, but the owner was inhospitable. A few family members came to visit me including my wife and infant from a cruise ship and she tried to charge my wife for staying the night when the reservation payment was for 2 adults. She kept checking on us to make sure our guests left."
