"The problem with the suites is that the cooking smell of the adjoining kitchen can really permeate throughout the entire space. So whoever cooked like a tomato sauce or something before I was there, I could really smell it in the bedroom. The bed was very comfortable though. The room was clean. The bathroom could use some updating. The staff were very nice."

"This place has a soul that you can feel as soon as you get to the property. Steven and the staff take great pride in the everything about the place and seem to genuinely enjoy sharing it with others. It is beautiful and peaceful and was perfect for us. We hope to return again someday."

"Strong dog smell, dirty shabby condition of interior surfaces. Obvious makeshift repairs, spongy floors, torn, flaking couch. Kitchen counter had multiple burn marks and some sticky substance, corner held down with duct tape. Screen door off tracks, laying against wall. Wife was stung by insect in the unit, had to go to hospital. We moved out after only 3 hours, and literally slept in the car rather than go back. Owner uncaring, rude and greedy. "The house was everything we wanted and more. Loaded with space, kitchen supplies, comfort, a grill, gorgeous stone fireplace. The location on. sleepy back road in the woods was beautiful and quiet. The only complaint is that they make you take your trash with you when you go. There was a pass for the local dump which helped offset the inconvenience. Otherwise, A+"
