Cari Hotel di Bentota

"Great breakfast. Great food altogether. They were a bit odd about when we could access the beach. It was closed from 12 to 3. Which was weird but other than that a great place."

"Thaala Bentota is an excellent place to relax during a vacation. Awesome location and amazing food. The rooms and fittings inside the room are a bit worn out and may need replacement to enhance the visitors' experience."

"Shabby room in desperate need of updating. The air conditioning rattles louder than the local train line behind the hotel making it difficult sleep and there is no ceiling fan to keep cool as an alternative. The furniture is stained, possibly with mildew. The bathroom has limescale, mould and a blocked sink. The bathroom towels were frayed and grey. The light switches had been weirdly painted over. Uncomfortable bed and bedding. The water is not drinkable, yet they only give you 2 small bottles...

"Very interesting architecture and tasteful interior design. Staff were super accommodating. Perfect place for a relaxing holiday on Sri Lanka’s coast."

"Villa Thamburu was an absolute dream! From the very beginning, we felt incredibly welcome. The service was outstanding, with such a kind and attentive team who made our stay truly special. The food (& cocktails) was simply AMAZING – every meal was a highlight! The beautiful pool was perfect for relaxing, the location was fantastic, and the rooms were absolutely perfect, comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Everything was just wonderful, and you can really feel the love and care that goes into...

"Interesting Visit - the doctor who is based on site for this Ayurvedic retreat centre gave us a lecture after dinner!!! The staff were very accommodating and friendly and happy and helpful!"

"This property is scam. Absolutely dirty, I don’t feel like recommending it. I want my money back. AC didn’t work, leaking water from AC vent. Dirty towel, spiders in bathrooms, broken taps We were 16 people, and our stay was horrible."

"Very nice to stay! Highly recommend."

"Clean, big and up todate rooms, direct access to private beach 50m"

"Great staff and a lovely place Slightly dated but still first class Good breakfast with lots of choice Definitely a great choice"
