Top Beirut Governorate Hotel Reviews

Hotel Cavalier
8/10 Good
"Hotel Cavalier is a clean & efficient hotel. The rooms are spacious, the balconies lovely to have, the bathrooms have all the necessary amenities, the beds are quite comfortable & the air conditioning very welcome with Beirut’s humidity. The staff at the front desk were very helpful & friendly. If you need a solid hotel room centrally located you can’t go wrong here.
Any down sides? The breakfast buffet wasn’t regularly served (too few guests at this time); there was no cable TV, fitness room or pool (for those who want them).
In my particular room one of the dresser drawers was broken & the safe didn’t work. My room smelled like cigarette smoke despite its being nonsmoking. These issues aside, I would stay here again for the price, cleanliness, comfort, & location."

Radisson BLU Martinez Hotel, Beirut
8/10 Good
"The premises are cleaned by refugees from Africa. Families congregate all day in the Lobby because the WiFi signal is stronger there."

Taj Suites
2/10 Terrible
"This seems like a fake hotel. I didn't get the room. They told me it was overbooked and to cancel online, which iam still following for a refund"

Beit Toureef
10/10 Excellent
"Here’s an honest review:
Location 5/5 — Perfectly located in the coolest neighborhood of Beirut
Amenities 4/5 - It’s a cute, heritage building with an external staircase that’s a little tricky when it rains, but charming AF when it’s a beautiful day out. The “lobby” is charming but feels less of a lounging place, and more like a cafeteria. The shower situation is cute in the corner, but not very practical as water ends up pooling in the room after a reasonable shower. Not a huge deal, but not perfect.
Bed 5/5 — Very comfortable king size. Perfect to sleep in after a long day (and my days have been LONG AF!).
Noise 3/5 — Location being what it is, you will hear the neighbourhood (street cars, occasional construction bangs, loud church bells- not the charming kind of church bells). It did bother me a few morning not gonna lie.
Staff 5/5 - Amazing hospitality. No negative comments. Super responsive. Kind. Smiling. All good!
Room 3.5/5 - It’s a cute concept: A micro hotel in a heritage building… so it is what it is. I really like the high ceilings (Heritage building). I didn’t like that there wasn’t much room to unpack properly. A corner closet (or an “armoire” if you want to stay true to form) would’ve been great. Another thing I really didn’t like is the lack of ventilation in the room. How much hours raise the humidity and unless you’re open the windows, books and passports would end up wrinkled.
Cost 5/5 — A lot of value for the money. Definitely a great find."

Radisson Blu Hotel, Beirut Verdun
10/10 Excellent
"I always stay in this hotel when I’m in Beirut. It is great in all aspects specially the sraff, very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend it. "

Markazia Suites
10/10 Excellent
"Staff was great. I was upgraded to a suite with no additional cost. The staff, especially the man at the front desk reception was genuinely interested in what I saw and did. Very friendly, welcoming, and courteous and made my stay pleasant. The driver they called to pick me up at the airport in the early morning upon my departure was very nice and arrived early. I am impressed with the hotel staff. "
