"We enjoyed this property four four days. We booked it wanting to have a different experience than the "chain resort" accomodations we enjoyed in December as a stopover on our vacation in New Zealand. We stayed in a beachfront bura which was clean and basic. We enjoyed sitting on the porch during rains. The breakfast at the resort was basic but enough. Dinners were good. "Spent 7 nights at the Sheraton, room was nice, clean, comfortable with good aircon and a ceiling fan.
Island 619 breakfast and dinner buffets were good, but birds at breakfast time are a huge issue. We observed birds standing in the food and eating directly from the buffet daily and the staff did not seem to care or do much about it. Dont walk away from your plate, the birds will beat you back to the table!
Spent most of our time at the Wet Edge bar and pool which was nicer and quieter than...

"The Hilton is very run down. Construction happening throughout the complex and outside. Our garden view was of the busy main walk way and construction site. The entry is very small. Some Staff are not the friendliest compared other 5 star resorts on the island. 2 of the pools looked like swamps with lots of leaves in the afternoon. The adult breakfast was average.
