"I was not happy at the first time but at least I was a wee happy when my room was changed to what it should be I paid for family room because I was with my two boy and my wife but you people gave gave me a double bed saying that my room was changed from the head office and also changed back to my family room I did not understand that story but is fine am ok at least but not at the beginning "

"Nice place to stay, train station is a 5 minute walk. Food options and friendly people. Coming from the airport… do NOT take a taxi. 757 bus to Paisley, then train to Greenock central. A LOT cheaper than taxi."

"Eccellent staff always helpful, room was always kept clean, we had to request more heat for the room and that was attended too. the buffet breakfast had a good choice of food although for the eater that did not take much it could be an expensive breakfast. Dinner in the Cruise restaurant was vey good but menu was the same every night. Waiting staff were always very helpful. On arrival the television was faulty but this was rectified the same day. "My stay at the Mercure suited me perfectly. I was close to the train station so I could easily walk up & travel to Glasgow, and also have a pleasant stroll along the promenade. The polite barman ensured I had a nice glass of wine to relax at the end of the day. The reception staff gave me a cheery welcome back wave me when I returned in the evening. "Have been before to this boutique hotel and the standard has never failed. Guy on reception was friendly and pleasant. Advised that food wasn’t available atm in the hotel but that he would telephone two down at the Seamill Hydro Hotel for dinner and gave us a voucher for breakfast at same hotel. Dinner booking was abit late for us so declined and went elsewhere. The breakfast was lovely at the Hydro. Hotel was nice and warm, room and bathroom spotless. Would return and recommend to others"

Only couple of issues, I filled in online the “pre checkin” form to save time (hotels words not mine). But when I got to reception I had to complete it again. Iron in the room was all sticky too.
