"2 single beds pushed together no bedside lamps minimal tv channels 7day week restaurant that doesn't open on Sundays billing to your room by mistake"

"The room was very comfortable and staff were lovely. Breakfast was great and lots of options for kids too."

"Rooms were clean staff was very helpful Great views from room"

"Current construction works for the light rail extension compromises what otherwise is a good location. The hotel itself seems a little tired, particularly in the hallways leading to the rooms and the room itself. The mattress was a bit soft for my liking."

"Super clean and spacious. Bed was a king but it was two king singles pushed together so wasn't the most comfortable but that would honestly be the only complaint. Other than that it was great! The pool looked awesome!"

"One bedroom apartment - super spacious with kitchen."

"Excellent hotel"

"This is a real bucket list experience. We chose the 1 night stay which included full board and a guided tour of the Zoo. We also did the additional Meerkat Experience at extra cost on our arrival day. We had a Lemur room and we could also see the lion enclosure from our room. The Zoo was amazing as was the food and drinks served - all top notch!"

"Rooms tidy & spacious. Breakfast was OK."

"Great location and sophisticated amenities and dining options. House cleaning left a little to be desired for a 5 star hotel. Floor hadn't been vacuumed sufficiently and there was food under the table. On day 2 of my 3 day stay I actually need to request this service. At check in it was very speedy which was terrific. At the same time I wasnt introduced to the property. No idea how to access pool and spa and no details on restaurants. On the morning of my checkout with my do not disturb sign...

"Wonderful hotel and excellent service from the staff.Would highly recommended Deco Hotel Canberra to anyone wishing to stay in Canberra"

"Great location and amenities. Definitely recommended."

"Excellent location for Theatre, Lake Burley Griffin & an easy walk across the bridge to key national interest building. Once the light rail extension is operating, you will have public transport option in your doorstop."

"Some features in spa suite was not working. The breakfast was good but need more variety. "

"The hotel is located in a quiet area, with a place to park your car overnight and a Woolies across the road. Kitchenette makes self-catering possible, but we just ordered room service (didn't wait long at all - reasonably priced). Bed was soft with crisp linen. Room was clean. We were able to stream onto the big TV from our devices. All up: great spot!"

"Fabulous location. All facilities really well maintained and beautifully landscapde outdoor areas"

"The hotel was reasonable for the price. The room was modern and functional. My only concern is that we got placed in a ‘pet’ room, which had dog hair and stains on the rug and it smelt like dog. I love that hotels are pet friendly, however you also need to clean more thoroughly and give people the option of whether they want to be placed in a pet or no pet room. When we talked to reception about it they couldn’t move us and they didn’t even offer to clean or remove the rug. For me this was an...

"The hotel is beautifully maintained inside and out. It is located in a quieter, leafy part of Canberra that I deliberately choose whenever I visit Canberra. The bed was very comfortable and although our room was on the top level, the stairs were no problem. I will definitely stay here again. It is excellent value for money."
