"We turned up. They never had an Expedia booking with us in their. system. We called expedia twice but they were unable to contact the hotel. So Expedia failed us completely. No booking. So beware if you book this hotel via expedia that your booking will not be in its system. The hotel looked quite dirty. We were showed one room where the running water did not work. A second room also failed running water"

"I had the most wonderful stay before and after the Choquequirao trek, and in fact the stay before was so wonderful and hospitable that I completed the trek a day early so I could return for one more night. The hosts are so sweet and thoughtful, and Katherine went above and beyond when I returned from the trek a bit sick, offering me honey for my tea from their personal kitchen area.
