"The front desk was very helpful. Gave early check in. Breakfast is wonderful. Pool and spa is amazing. Incredibly clean and well maintained. Hot tub was functional throughout our stay. Great 4 star hotel."

"The room is small, warm & really requires the windows open to get some air through. Unfortunately it is situated next to the kitchen & its industrial extraction unit. Having arrived I went to enquire if the extraction would be on all night? I was assured in a matronly manner that it would be off by 9.30 pm & back on at 7am, helpfully I was advised to shut the bathroom door to keep the noise down. Placated I returned to the room. On the back of the bathroom door the hotel has hung the ironing...

"Beautiful gardens, the room was not in the big historic home but an added on building to the side. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was delicious in the restaurant. The only problem was the room was very hot and it made sleep difficult. This was with a fan on and the window open as far as it could be opened. I would return but only in cold months"
