"We were 2 couples that stayed at Roccos for 2 1/2 weeks. Beautiful pool area, excellent service and really good food! We had breakfast included and tested all the tasty Sri Lanka dishes. The staff are all really friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay at Roccos if/when we return to Arugam Bay <3"

"The hotel had been abandoned. We managed to check-in but there have been no staff onsite since. A local has told us that the Indian company that owns the hotel has not paid the local staff wages and they have been forced to leave. The hotel is filthy, there is literally no staff anywhere to be seen. "

"Wir waren vier Nächte als Zwischenstopp hier eingecheckt. Wir wurden wenig herzlich empfangen. Auch funktionierten anfänglich die Toilette und die Dusche nicht. Beim betätigen der Dusche roch das Wasser unangenehm. Die Sauberkeit des Zimmers war eher sporadisch. Auch wurde während des gesamten Aufenthaltes weder das Bettzeug noch die Handtücher gewechselt.
